Natalia's Artist Statement

I appreciate beauty, harmony and originality in every aspect of life and art.

 

My knowledge of an ancient science of physiognomy, body language, palmistry, anatomical proportions are very helpful to me in the capturing my sitter’s likeness, personality and mood.

 

I’ve been drawing freehand since I was a child. I have trained on my eyes not to rely on such artist's tools as projectors, rulers, grids, transferring materials, etc. 

 

I live sustainably, so I’m keen on exploring and improving my painting techniques with nontoxic mediums, and I’m very interested to paint from life.
